NVIDIA has confirmed that a data breach struck GeForce NOW users in Armenia after attackers gained access to systems run by GFN.am, the local third-party partner that operates NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service in that country. The breach happened between March 20 and 26, and exposed personal details for users who registered before March 9. NVIDIA’s own global infrastructure was not affected — this was limited entirely to the Armenian partner’s systems.
The exposed data includes full names (for those who signed in with Google), email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, usernames, and whether users had two-factor authentication enabled. Importantly, no passwords were compromised. GFN.am has said it will notify affected users directly.
How to check if you’re affected
Affected products are GeForce NOW accounts managed through GFN.am — the Armenian regional service. If you registered for GeForce NOW in Armenia before March 9, 2026, assume your account details were exposed.
- Watch for an email from GFN.am about the incident.
- If you used the same email and password on other services, change those passwords now.
- Enable two-factor authentication on your GeForce NOW account and on any other account that shares your email address.
- Be alert to phishing emails claiming to be from NVIDIA or GFN.am — scammers may use leaked email addresses to send fake “security alerts.”
